Key Responsibilities:
- Hostel Supervision: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the hostel, including student safety, well-being, and discipline.
- Student Welfare: Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students; serve as a mentor and guide for their personal and social development.
- Discipline & Conduct: Enforce hostel rules and regulations while fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records, manage inventories, and coordinate with administrative and academic departments.
- Liaison: Work closely with the school leadership, teaching staff, and parents to address student needs and concerns.
- Health & Safety: Monitor hygiene, health, and safety protocols within the hostel premises.
- Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies and student issues promptly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in managing residential hostels in a school or educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle adolescent behavior with empathy and firmness.
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and first-aid procedures.
- Willingness to live on campus and be available 24/7 for student needs.
