Job Title: IB Principal

Job Summary:

Gateway International School is seeking a highly experienced and visionary IB Principal to lead and oversee the International Baccalaureate programmes — Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, a deep understanding of IB philosophy, and a passion for international education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all IB programmes (PYP, MYP, and DP).
  • Ensure compliance with IB standards and practices across all programme levels.
  • Collaborate with academic coordinators and faculty to drive excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Monitor curriculum delivery and ensure it meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Foster a strong IB culture and global-mindedness across the school community.
  • Lead professional development initiatives for IB teachers.
  • Prepare for and manage IB authorizations and evaluation visits.
  • Engage with students, parents, staff, and IB community stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the overall academic and cultural environment of the school.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • IB certifications/training in PYP, MYP, and/or DP is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an IB Principal or in a senior IB leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple IB programmes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
