The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching ICT to students across various grade levels, ensuring that they develop a robust understanding of digital tools, programming fundamentals, and responsible internet use. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with curriculum standards (CBSE/IGCSE/IB, as applicable).
- Teach topics including computer fundamentals, programming (Scratch, Python, etc.), MS Office, internet safety, and digital citizenship.
- Integrate technology into other subject areas through interdisciplinary teaching.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and digital projects.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage and maintain the school’s computer lab and equipment.
- Encourage the responsible use of technology among students.
- Organize coding clubs, tech events, and IT exhibitions.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and suggest innovative teaching tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or progressive school setting.
- Strong command of programming languages, educational technology tools, and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and support students in developing IT skills critical for academic and professional success.
