Job Description:

Surya Varsani Academy invites passionate and experienced educators to apply for the position of Economics Teacher for IGCSE and AS/A Levels. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with the Cambridge curriculum and capable of delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that foster academic excellence and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics at the IGCSE and AS/A Levels following the Cambridge International curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain an encouraging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to academic planning and student development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with fellow faculty members for cross-curricular integration and school events.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a student-focused teaching approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Cambridge training certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
