Job Title: IGCSE, AS & A Level Economics and Accounts Teacher

Location: Witty International School, Malad (West), Mumbai

Job Description:

Witty International School, Malad is seeking an experienced and dynamic Economics and Accounts Teacher for the IGCSE, AS and A Level curriculum under the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who are well-versed in international pedagogy and eager to inspire students in Grades 9 to 12.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Economics and Accounts for IGCSE, AS, and A Level students.
  • Prepare students for CAIE examinations with strong conceptual clarity and exam techniques.
  • Create lesson plans, assessments, and classroom activities in line with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Use innovative and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Evaluate and provide timely feedback on students’ academic performance.
  • Collaborate with academic coordinators and participate in school events and professional development programs.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Economics and/or Accounts at the IGCSE/AS/A Level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum is a must.
  • Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
