IGCSE As/A level English Faculty

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level English Language and/or Literature. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the CAIE curriculum and committed to developing students' critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE & AS/A Level English curriculum.
2. Prepare students for internal assessments, Cambridge examinations, and coursework submissions.
3. Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback.
5. Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language.
6. Support students in developing academic writing, comprehension, and analytical skills.
7. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and department planning.
8. Stay updated with changes in the CAIE syllabus and assessment patterns.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English / Literature / Education.
2. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
3. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in IGCSE and A Level English.
4. Strong understanding of CAIE assessment objectives and grading criteria.
5. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
6. Passion for teaching and student development.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with digital tools and blended learning.
2. Familiarity with English Language (9093) and English Literature (9695) syllabi.
3. Experience in script checking or examiner training is a plus.
