Dreamtime Learning School is seeking experienced and passionate Indian Language Teachers to conduct online sessions for young learners. This is a flexible part-time opportunity ideal for educators who are proficient in regional Indian languages and interested in contributing to a culturally enriching language program.
Languages Required:
- Malayalam
- Tamil
- Kannada
- Telugu
Educators may apply for one or more of the above based on their fluency and teaching expertise.
Role Overview:
As a Language Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting engaging and culturally immersive weekly online sessions on Saturdays. The goal is to teach conversational language skills, basic reading/writing (where applicable), and cultural context in a fun and interactive manner suitable for beginner learners, primarily school-age children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver 45–60 minute interactive sessions every Saturday.
- Prepare and share simple worksheets, stories, or cultural examples to enhance learning.
- Encourage student participation through songs, games, and visual aids.
- Provide brief feedback to parents or coordinators on learner progress.
- Ensure a safe and positive virtual classroom experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Fluency in any one of the listed languages.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (formal/informal) preferred.
- Comfortable using online platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams.
- Friendly, patient, and child-centered teaching approach.
- Ability to commit to one session per week consistently.
