Lady Warden – SRMPS, Lucknow

Location: Near Indira Canal, Faizabad Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – 227105

SRMPS (Sri Ram Memorial Public School), a respected institution in Lucknow, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Lady Warden to manage and oversee the welfare of the students residing in the school hostel. The role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Manage Hostel: Ensure the overall safety, well-being, and discipline of students in the hostel. Oversee the day-to-day activities and routines within the hostel.
  • Student Welfare: Monitor students' academic and personal progress. Provide emotional support and guidance to students, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
  • Discipline & Rules Enforcement: Ensure students follow hostel rules and regulations, including daily schedules, personal hygiene, study routines, and recreational activities. Maintain a conducive living and learning environment.
  • Parent Communication: Act as a liaison between parents and the school. Communicate any issues or concerns related to student health, behavior, or progress.
  • Coordination with Staff: Coordinate with school administration, teaching staff, and medical professionals regarding students’ needs, illnesses, and any emergencies that may arise.
  • Event Organization: Organize extracurricular activities and outings to ensure students have a balanced life and engage in activities that promote physical, mental, and social growth.
  • Hostel Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the hostel premises. Oversee housekeeping and manage hostel supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Graduate in any stream (preferably in Psychology, Sociology, or any related field).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential school or educational institution.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle emergencies with composure and efficiency. Proficiency in managing hostel facilities and coordinating activities.

Personal Traits:

  • Compassionate, patient, and approachable.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
