Heritage Xperiential Schools, known for pioneering experiential and inquiry-based learning methodologies, is expanding its Makerspace Program to promote hands-on, design-driven education. We are currently inviting applications for the position of Makers Educators and Curriculum Specialists who are passionate about interdisciplinary innovation, collaborative learning, and real-world problem-solving.
This is an exceptional opportunity for educators, STEM enthusiasts, tinkerers, designers, and project-based learning facilitators who can inspire curiosity and creativity in learners through the use of maker tools and technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics kits, coding platforms, and design thinking practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging maker sessions in labs using project-based and experiential learning frameworks.
Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate Makerspace activities across curriculum areas.
Guide students in building working models, prototypes, and innovative solutions using tools and technologies.
Design interdisciplinary curriculum units and instructional materials tailored for age-specific learning objectives.
Provide training and support to teachers in integrating maker culture into mainstream academics.
Encourage innovation, resilience, and iterative learning among students.
Maintain inventory, ensure safety protocols, and manage upkeep of the Makerspace lab.
Organize events such as innovation exhibitions, STEM fairs, and student-led design challenges.
Eligibility Criteria:
A graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Design, Architecture, Education, or related fields.
2–5 years of experience in a school makerspace, innovation lab, or STEM-based education role.
Strong practical knowledge of tools like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO robotics, Tinkercad, or Scratch.
Prior experience in curriculum development or EdTech product design is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for student-centric learning environments.
