Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Online Math Educator to deliver high-quality math instruction to students in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and teaching methodologies, and will be adept at engaging students through interactive and personalized online sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging math lessons to students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 based on curriculum standards
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs, abilities, and learning styles of individual students.
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments to ensure students' academic growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators regarding progress, challenges, and improvements.
- Maintain professionalism in communication and adhere to the agreed schedule for all classes.
- Utilize technology tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, or other online platforms) to enhance learning and classroom management.
- Track and report student progress regularly, offering additional support where necessary.
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and encourages students to reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience (minimum 2 years in online or in-person teaching).
- Proficient in using online teaching platforms and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex math concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
