Goenka Group, is inviting applications from passionate and skilled music educators for the position of Music Teacher – Vocal (Classical & Western). This role offers a dynamic opportunity to nurture young musical talent and integrate music into the heart of the school's co-curricular framework.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile music professional who can inspire students across various age groups and foster an appreciation for both Indian classical and Western vocal traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured music lessons in both Indian Classical and Western Vocal genres across primary and secondary levels.
- Design and implement an engaging music curriculum aligned with the school's academic and cultural objectives.
- Train and prepare students for school assemblies, inter-school competitions, cultural events, and annual functions.
- Conduct choir rehearsals, solo and group practice sessions, and performance planning.
- Introduce students to vocal techniques, musical notation, rhythm, and basic music theory.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression.
- Collaborate with the performing arts department and contribute to interdisciplinary programs and celebrations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (Vocal) from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in both Indian classical and Western vocal styles is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school or music institution is preferred.
- Ability to play at least one musical instrument (keyboard, harmonium, or guitar) will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are essential.
