Responsibilities
The Algomap Coding Interview Bootcamp is expanding! Algomap has helped hundreds of developers crack placements at top tech companies like FAANG. Greg Hogg (tech influencer with over half a million followers) teaches the North American version, and now we're looking for a teacher to run the Indian version!
You will need to have solved a minimum of 100 Leetcode questions to be applicable for this role. Our curriculum spans everything from arrays and strings, all the way up to graphs and dynamic programming. You'll have to be very comfortable with this material to be eligible.
Weekly responsibilities include ~2 hours in Monday-Friday evenings (after regular work hours) to teach the material to your cohort. You don't need to create any material, just practice running the Powerpoints we've already created for you. Content is based on our free algorithms roadmap available at Algomap.io.
Qualifications
We don't care about your degree.
We're looking for someone that kicks butt at Leetcode, data structures and algorithms, and so on.
Some extra credibility for marketing purposes is always nice, like if you've worked at a good company, but we don't overly care.
In order to know if you're a good fit, we would need to see proof you are outgoing and have great communication. Therefore we are strongly preferring candidates with coding youtube channels / instagram content creators. It's not technically mandatory, but we likely won't schedule you an interview if there's no evidence of seeing you teach and hearing your voice.
HR
Because we are a Canadian based company, you will be treated as a contractor / freelancer and not an employee of our corporation. It's fully remote, so as long as you are confident in your teaching abilities, internet speed and Leetcode skills, and you're based in India, you're good to apply for this. Salary will be slightly higher than normal similar roles in India.
