Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality and engaging Biology lessons to senior secondary (Classes XI & XII) students in alignment with CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet academic standards and cater to diverse student needs.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive tests with a focus on concept clarity, practical application, and analytical skills.
- Use modern teaching aids, ICT tools, and lab experiments to enrich classroom learning.
- Evaluate student performance regularly through assignments, tests, and project work.
- Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and communicate with parents as needed.
- Encourage student participation in science exhibitions, quizzes, and academic competitions.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers for cross-disciplinary learning initiatives and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Contribute to the development of school policies, curriculum improvement, and academic planning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biology/Zoology/Botany or related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE Class XI & XII Biology syllabus.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a reputed CBSE school.
- Experience in preparing students for board exams and handling practical lab sessions effectively.
