Job Description:
K.R. Mangalam Global School is seeking a qualified and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Biology to join its esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command over the subject and possess excellent teaching skills to engage senior secondary students.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging biology lessons for classes XI and XII in alignment with CBSE curriculum and global education standards.
- Develop and execute lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional techniques and multimedia tools.
- Assess students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations, ensuring consistent academic progress.
- Encourage scientific thinking, experimentation, and real-world application of biological concepts.
- Prepare students for board examinations with mock tests, revision sessions, and personalized support.
- Participate in school events, science exhibitions, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance interdisciplinary teaching strategies and contribute to school development.
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s Degree in Biology/Zoology/Botany or equivalent.
- B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching Biology at the PGT level (CBSE preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with digital tools and smart classroom technology.
- Ability to mentor students for competitive exams (NEET, Olympiads, etc.).
