Roles and Responsibilities:
- Teach English to students of Grades 11 and 12, strictly following the ICSE and ISC curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional material aligned with curriculum goals, literary standards, and board requirements.
- Prepare students for board exams with structured classroom sessions, assessments, and regular feedback.
- Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and a deep appreciation for literature.
- Conduct regular evaluations through tests, assignments, and presentations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Maintain student discipline and uphold school values in academic and co-curricular interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in English (M.A.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Candidates must be well-versed in ICSE and ISC syllabi, teaching strategies, and exam patterns.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience in English at the senior secondary level, preferably in an ICSE/ISC school.
- Proven track record of preparing students for board examinations with excellent results.
Skills Preferred:
- Excellent command over spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and e-learning platforms is an added advantage.
