Job Summary:
CD International School, a reputed institution in Gurugram, is seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive English lessons to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12), fostering critical thinking and advanced language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
- Design innovative and interactive teaching methodologies to enhance language comprehension and expression.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and discipline.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as debates, essay competitions, and literary events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership for continuous academic improvement.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Postgraduate degree (MA/MPhil) in English.
- B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in teaching English at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in technology-aided teaching tools and virtual classrooms.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
