Job Description:

St. Thomas Mission School is inviting applications for the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary classes, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering conceptual understanding of Physics through modern and interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Physics lessons for senior secondary classes (XI–XII) as per curriculum standards
  • Prepare academic plans, assignments, practicals, and assessments
  • Use innovative techniques to clarify complex Physics concepts
  • Track student performance and provide academic support
  • Coordinate with academic departments and attend faculty meetings

Qualifications Required:

  • Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or a related field
  • B.Ed. from a recognized university (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience as PGT in reputed CBSE/ICSE schools preferred
  • Candidates with strong subject knowledge and fresher postgraduates may also apply

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in digital teaching tools and Physics lab activities
  • Strong classroom management and motivational abilities
