Role Overview:
The school is looking for an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Political Science to teach senior secondary classes (Grades XI and XII) as per CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with current pedagogical practices and demonstrate a deep understanding of political concepts, theories, and their relevance in national and global contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Political Science to senior secondary students.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and projects aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and student participation in discussions on democratic systems, governance, and political ideologies.
- Prepare students for board examinations through regular assessments and feedback.
- Maintain academic records and student progress reports.
- Participate actively in department meetings, parent interactions, school functions, and professional development workshops.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Political Science from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school at the senior secondary level.
- Strong command over written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and technology-driven classrooms.
