Position:
PGT – Political Science
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree (M.A.) in Political Science from a recognized university
B.Ed. degree is mandatory
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school at the senior secondary level
Proficient in the use of digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Political Science to senior secondary students
Design innovative teaching methods and assessment tools that cater to students' intellectual and analytical growth
Prepare lesson plans and maintain proper academic documentation
Conduct regular class tests and evaluate student performance
Foster a classroom environment conducive to inquiry, debate, and exploration of political theories and real-world applications
Organize and guide students in co-curricular activities related to social sciences such as debates, model parliaments, etc.
Coordinate with academic heads and participate in staff development workshops and curriculum planning
Skills Required:
Strong command over the subject and excellent communication skills in English
Deep understanding of CBSE curriculum for Political Science (Classes XI–XII)
Ability to foster critical thinking and civic awareness among students
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic innovation
A positive, responsible, and team-oriented attitude
