Job Overview:
Vibgyor School, Marathahalli is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to take on the role of PL (Personalized Learning) Leader / Special Education Coordinator. The ideal candidate will lead inclusive education initiatives and oversee specialized instructional strategies to cater to students with diverse learning needs. The role is integral to creating a nurturing and supportive academic environment where every child thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services.
- Assess students' learning, behavioral, emotional, and social development to develop appropriate support plans.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and instructional strategies for students with special needs.
- Conduct regular workshops and training sessions for staff to build capacity in inclusive teaching methods.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and liaise with parents on a regular basis.
- Lead the school’s inclusive education vision and ensure compliance with applicable academic standards and best practices.
- Act as a mentor and guide to shadow teachers and special educators in the school.
- Manage learning resource materials and assist in identifying assistive technologies and tools for personalized learning support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Special Education (RCI-recognized) preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a reputed school.
- Excellent understanding of inclusive education frameworks, child development, and behavior management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with parents, staff, and external professionals.
- Leadership qualities to drive inclusive policies across the school community.
