Doon Imperial Residential School is seeking experienced and dedicated Post Graduate Teachers in Biology and Chemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering academic excellence in senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Biology and/or Chemistry for classes XI and XII.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans, practicals, and assessments aligned with the school curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to help improve learning outcomes.
- Encourage scientific inquiry and develop critical thinking skills among students.
- Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Participate actively in school activities, workshops, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with peers and school leadership to enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at senior secondary level is desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
