Job Description:

Nandha Central City School, a reputed institution in Erode, is urgently hiring a qualified and dedicated PGT Biology Teacher. This vacancy has arisen due to the current teacher stepping down for personal reasons. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching biology to senior secondary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology to students of higher secondary levels (Grades XI & XII) in line with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans, academic resources, and laboratory exercises that promote interactive and practical learning.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments, quizzes, and feedback.
  • Organize and supervise lab experiments, ensuring safety and academic rigor.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and CBSE board exams.
  • Provide guidance and academic counseling to students interested in life sciences and related fields.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff development programs, and other school activities.

Qualifications Required:

  • M.Sc. in Biology/Zoology/Botany or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
  • Candidates with CTET or relevant teaching eligibility certifications will be preferred.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated schools at the senior secondary level.
  • Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent academic track record may also apply.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong classroom and time management.
  • Ability to conduct practical classes effectively and innovatively.
  • Familiarity with using digital tools and educational platforms.
