Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Commerce to join our academic team immediately on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, teaching experience, and a deep commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Classroom Teaching:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures in Commerce subjects including:
- Accountancy
- Business Studies
- Economics (if applicable)
- Use modern teaching methodologies and tools to enhance student understanding.
🔹 Academic Planning:
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the CBSE/ICSE curriculum.
- Maintain academic calendars and prepare unit-wise plans.
🔹 Assessment & Evaluation:
- Design and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects.
- Maintain academic records and student progress reports.
🔹 Student Mentorship:
- Guide students with career-oriented advice and help them prepare for board exams and entrance tests.
- Identify and support students needing extra help.
🔹 Coordination & Collaboration:
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Collaborate with peers for curriculum improvements and interdisciplinary projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
✅ Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. preferred (not mandatory for ad-hoc positions).
✅ Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary (PGT) level preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
✅ Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and platforms.
