Recruitment Notification: Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff at Army Public School, Old Cantt, Prayagraj — Academic Session 2025-26

Army Public School, Old Cantt, Prayagraj, invites applications from eligible, dedicated, and dynamic candidates for various teaching and non-teaching positions on an adhoc basis for the academic session 2025-26 through the Local Selection Board (LSB-III). Positions and Qualifications:

  1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)/
  2. Candidates must have a Post Graduate degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university in concerned subjects such as Physics, Psychology, etc.
  • Essential qualifications include:
  • Two years integrated Post Graduate M.A./M.Sc. course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks, OR
  • Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks and a three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed degree, OR
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate in subjects like Physics (including Electronics, Applied Physics, Nuclear Physics), Psychology, etc.
  • Candidates for PGT Psychology must hold M.A/M.Sc. in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counseling, with competence in teaching through Hindi and English.
  1. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)/
  2. Applicants should hold a four-year integrated degree course from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks, or equivalent qualification in subjects including Science, English, and Hindi.
  • Science TGTs should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Proficiency in teaching English medium and computer application knowledge is desirable.
  1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/
  2. Candidates should be graduates or have 10 years of service as clerks, preferably ex-servicemen, with computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office.

Age Limits:

  • Fresh candidates (No experience) should be below 40 years of age.
  • Experienced candidates (including Ex-Servicemen) should be below 57 years.
