The British School Kathmandu (TBS) is seeking a dynamic, committed professional to join its team in the Primary Section Student Learning Support role. This position is ideal for educators who are passionate about inclusive education and the overall development of young learners in a diverse international school environment.

Position Overview:

The Student Learning Support (LS) team plays a key role in enhancing student learning by collaborating with teachers, Higher Level Learning Support staff (HLLS), Curriculum Learning Support staff (CLS), and other professionals. The role is essential in ensuring students receive the appropriate support they need to succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted learning support for students in the primary section who need additional academic or behavioral assistance.
  • Work in partnership with classroom teachers and support teams to implement individualized support strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports of supported students.
  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school or child-focused educational environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure.
  • A nurturing and flexible approach to supporting student development.
