History of the Trust:
Chandralop Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established on 07/02/2001 in the educational point of view. The trust is registered by the Trust Registration Act 1860 by rule 21 and Mumbai Registration Act 1950, by rule 29. Since 2001, this organization is performing the Educational and Social works efficiently and successfully. It is the organization, which focuses on innovative approaches to the welfare of the society. By effective educational programs, the trust is pursuing its goal by conducting various social activities and several courses for the public with extensive practical training. Due to the standard, integrated and action-oriented implementation, this trust is awarded by ISO 9001-2000 in the year 2005.

About University:
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, with its headquarters situated at Lonere, is now a statutory State Technical University established by Government of Maharashtra through special Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act. The university has been accorded the status of an ‘affiliating’ university of the entire State of Maharashtra from March 2, 2016, by the Maharashtra Act No. XXIX of 2014.
The University introduced choice-based credit system from the academic year 2010-11. Academic systems such as credit-based continuous assessment system, non-negotiable academic calendar, transparency in the evaluation, etc. have been put in place. A two-fold increase in enrolment of M.Tech. programmes have been achieved due to the grant of assistantship to non-GATE M.Tech. students and 29 PhDs were given research assistantship in TEQIP-II which concluded in March 2017 A large number of need-based training and continuing education programmes in subject domains and in pedagogy (basic module and advanced module) have been conducted for the benefit of internal as well as engineering teachers from other Institutes. Workshops on outcome-based education have been conducted for faculty.
The university has prepared an elaborate ‘Strategic Plan’ which gives a detailed roadmap for the long-term development and growth of the university as envisaged in the University Act. The implementation of this strategic plan in letter and spirit will enable this university to achieve its goals.

Facilities:
ACE extends teaching-learning activities beyond the classrooms in the form of sub group discussions, seminars, symposia, and visit to industries. A great deal of emphasis is laid on meditated learning through interactive sessions with gadgets like Overhead Projectors, Slide Projectors and other such audio visual aids.
Personality Development:
It's another core aspect that ACE gives a great deal of weightage to. In this direction, the Institute offers wide opportunities and exposure for the development of physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual and moral growth of the students.
Guest Lectures:
Special guest lectures and workshops will be arranged in the area of meditation, Indian culture, human values, leadership, lateral thinking skills and emotional intelligence. The students are also encouraged to present seminars to fine tune their comprehension and expression skills.
Technical Visits:
To keep the students well informed and provide opportunities to familiarize them with practical aspects of their classroom studies, the Institute arranges technical visits to various reputed and well established private as well as government workshops, industries and educational Institutes like Aayudh Tools, Skoda Auto, Varroc Engineering, ABB Nashik, 132 KV substation, Measurewel Technologies, Endurance group of companies etc.
Career And Recruitment Cell:
A special recruitment cell is appointed by ACE for taking care of the training and placement of the student after completion of the course keeping view towards job prospectus in India and Abroad. Regular interaction with experienced academicians, industrial experts keep the students abreast with the ever-changing trends of the market. The staff always extends a helping hand to the students to guide them in all the queries related to their careers. Expert lectures arranged on importance of GATE examination for TE & BE students. Now a day's most of the govt. sector organizations like ONGC, BHEL, HPCL, Reliance Energy select fresh engineering graduates based on valid GATE score.
Sports And Athletics:
To cater the needs of students physical development, various activities at regular intervals were arranged. Students enjoyed the sports and athletics during the Annual Sports meet. They participated in many indoor and outdoor events like cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, running, high jump, long jump etc. This was great experience for the students and helped many of them to carve out their personality. The Institute aims at developing sportsmanship spirit amongst the students through such activities.
Celebration Of Teachers Day And Engineers Day:
Every year ACE celebrates Teachers day (5th September) and Engineers day (15th September). These events are followed by various competitions like Debate, Technical Quiz, Poster presentation, Group discussion, Essay and Speech competition.
