Job Description:

Air Force School Begumpet is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the prestigious role of Principal. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/administrative role in a reputed CBSE school.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of CBSE regulations and school administration procedures.

Air Force School, Begumpet was established in 1953 with the primary objective to provide educational facilities to the children of Air Force Personnel and civilians. It started with lofty ideas of making students better and responsible citizens of the nation. The school is situated inside the Air Force Station thus ensuring the safety of the children . We strive to make education a natural and friendly activity apart from providing opportunity for the all-round development of every individual.

The school is looked after by the School Management Committee (SMC). The school runs from Pre-primary (LKG & UKG), I to grade X. The medium of instruction is English, and CBSE syllabus is followed.

Academic Session:

The Academic Session of the school is from 01 April to 31 March every year.

Admissions:

Application form, duly completed in all respects, along with the following certificates, is to be submitted to the School by 15th March every year.


Admission to class 1 & above in the Air Force School will be on the basis of lot system for the school. Based on the performance and suitability, admission in the classes sought will be decided.

House System:

The school has a house system to promote the sprite de corps and to ensure healthy competition. The maintenance of discipline and cleanliness of the school is the responsibility of the house on Duty.

The Houses are Sekhon – GREEN, Arjan – YELLOW, Subroto – RED, Katre – BLUE.

The students are driven by a passion to excel in various disciplines by feelings of loyalty, integrity and sense of responsibility.
