  2. Candidates must possess a PhD and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in academia. Strong leadership and administrative skills are essential to lead the undergraduate and B.Tech programs effectively.
  3. Associate Professor & Assistant Professor (Hospitality, Hospital Management, Optometry)
  4. Candidates should have at least a first-class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5 years of teaching or industry experience. PhD is preferable for Associate Professor roles. Specializations include Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Hospital Management, and Optometry.
  5. Training & Placement Officer
  6. A graduate from a recognized university with a good command of English and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with industries for student placements.
  7. Admission Counsellor
  8. Graduate with 3 to 5 years of experience in education. Responsibilities include guiding students on course selection, university registration, and academic planning.
  9. HR Manager & Marketing Manager
  10. Minimum 5 years of experience required. HR Manager should have industry experience, while Marketing Manager must have experience in the academic field.
  11. Public Relations Officer
  12. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication, media relations, marketing, conflict resolution, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  13. Front Office Manager
  14. Responsible for managing staff, handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Pailan is a village in the southern outskirts of Kolkata, under Bishnupur PS, close to IIMC Joka. Pailan was a heaven of illegal country liquor for decades. A gentleman with big dreams and a bigger heart entered Pailan in late 1989. He wanted to transform the place into a real heaven as the local inhabitants of Pailan were earnestly requesting him to do so. And the transformation of Pailan started….from darkness to sunshine.

  1. In 1990 township starts under Central Govt. Employees Society with all govt. employees.
  2. In 1996 the first lot of plots were distributed in presence of Mr. Subhash Chakraborty, Minister, Govt. of West Bengal.
  3. In 2001, 900 plots were distributed at a low cost.
  4. In 2001, Pailan Education Trust was formed with Founder Trustees Mr. Apurba Kr. Saha (M.D. Pailan Group), Mr. Asoke Kumar Mukherjee (Senior Advocate), Mr. Biren Kr. Saha (Ex. Commissioner of Police) and Capt. Birendra Kumar (Master Mariner) and Board of Governors like Justice Chittotosh Mukherjee and other renowned personalities of that time.
  5. Subsequently renowned academicians and noted personalities like Dr. Anup Kr. In 2001, Pailan College of Management & Technology (PCMT) was formed under affiliation of Viswa Bharati University to offer various management and technology courses in undergraduate and post graduate level. Prof. Dilip Singha, Vice Chancellor of VBU was present during the inauguration of the college.
  7. In 2002, Trident College of Management & Technology was formed under affiliation of Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India to offer various long term and short-term courses.
  8. In 2003, Pailan School of International Studies (PSIS) was inaugurated. The then Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharyya was the Chief Guest.
  9. In 2004 PACE was formed with 32 centres in and around West Bengal to offer coaching to govt. job aspirants.
  10. In 2005, Pailan Aviation Institute (PAI) was inaugurated to offer various Airhostess training courses and 3 years Diploma Engineering course with 13 Airhostess Training Centres approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Noted politician Mr. Biman Bose was the Chief Guest.
  11. In 2006 Pailan World School was inaugurated with Mr. John Mason, Renowned Educationist as Chief Advisor .
  12. In 2008 B. Tech division of Pailan College of Management & Technology was inaugurated. Mr. Somenath Chatterjee, Loksabha Speaker, Mr. Subodh Kant Sahay, Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India and other ministers of state were present. Mr. Sparshamani Chatterjee, Ex Vice Chancellor of BESU was the Chairman of the BOG.
  13. In 2009 Pailan College of Education was inaugurated under the approval of NCTE and affiliated by Calcutta University.
  14. In 2010 Pailan Film & Television Institute was inaugurated in presence of renowned Tollywood actors.
  15. In 2011 Pailan Technical Campus with affiliation from State Council and approval under AICTE.
