If we have the courage to follow our dreams, there’s no reason why they won’t come true. I dream of seeing my students standing tall and confident holding their own in this world. It will be my endeavor to empower, inspire as well as motivate students to be creative and rational thinkers who will adjust harmoniously in a fast-changing global society.
It’s a privilege to join the team of this prestigious School founded by a great visionary and built as a tribute to the great Rani Channamma of Kittur who died fighting for the freedom of this land. The Key Result Areas (KRA’s) that I wish to focus on are discipline, academic excellence and maximum participation in all activities.
Discipline is the bridge between aim and achievement. It must be a habit so well inculcated and so deeply ingrained that it becomes an intrinsic part of one’s personality.
Academic excellence, creativity, taking pride in oneself and maximizing one’s potential gives an edge in the present competitive world. Developing a well-rounded personality involves taking part in every activity made available by the School. Confidence comes from practice and participation.
As we enter into our Golden Jubilee year I wish to build on what our predecessors have bequeathed to us by building this great institution brick by brick. It’s been a long and arduous journey for this School wherein generations have contributed to its growth as well as stature. This sacred soil which stood witness to the sacrifice of Rani Channamma also saw a great visionary, Late Mr S Kanthi, who laid the foundation of this excellent institution half a century ago and dreamt that one day this sacrifice would bloom into thousands of confident young girls ready to hold various leadership positions in Society. If he were alive today, his chest would have swelled with pride on seeing the great strides this institution has taken. We cannot discover new oceans unless we have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Let us together understand the depth of our roots, yet develop wings strong enough to navigate the changing skies. Let us recharge, redefine, rejuvenate, rethink and reach the heights of excellence in accordance with the motto of this School “In Pursuit of Excellence”.
At KRCRSSG, The Principal is the Chief Executive and Administrative head of the school. He is assisted by the Head Mistress and an Administrative officer in school administration. The teaching faculty is highly qualified, experienced, motivated and dedicated. Besides, there is a sizeable staff to cater to the administrative needs of the school. With about a total of 220 teaching and non-teaching faculty, they are highly trained to impart a broad and balanced program of study to our cadets without compromising the core values and ethics of our culture. The syllabus here is pre-arranged on excellent standards, coupled with theory and practical activities to make the process of learning not only an educative one but also a unique learning experience as well. The school aims at creating an amiable environment through its unique infrastructure and activities for the overall personality development of the student by inculcating a spirit of healthy competition, team work, and cooperation for positive contributions towards the family and community as a whole.
