The Principal will serve as the chief academic and executive officer of the college, responsible for driving institutional growth across teaching, research, governance, and accreditation. The role requires a dynamic leader who can guide an Arts Commerce Science College toward continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks. As Principal, the incumbent will oversee academic planning, curriculum development, examination reforms, and quality assurance processes in line with UGC norms and affiliated university guidelines.
A key responsibility of the Principal is to foster a strong research culture by encouraging faculty research, publications, funded projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Effective Higher Education Leadership is essential to mentor faculty members, promote professional development initiatives, and build a student-centric academic environment. The Principal will also be responsible for institutional accreditation processes such as NAAC, NIRF participation, and academic audits, ensuring transparency and quality benchmarks across departments.
Administrative leadership is central to this role. The Principal will manage human resources, infrastructure planning, budgeting, and policy implementation while maintaining strong coordination with governing bodies, management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders. Experience in managing an autonomous Arts Commerce Science College will be highly valued, especially in implementing outcome-based education, academic reforms, and digital initiatives.

Eligibility:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with NET and/or Ph.D. as per UGC norms, along with significant teaching, research, and administrative experience in higher education. Prior experience as Principal, Dean, or senior academic administrator in an Arts, Commerce, or Science college will be an added advantage.
