🎓 Minimum Qualifications (As per IIT norms):

  • Professor: Ph.D. in relevant discipline with minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience. Must have guided Ph.D. scholars and published in reputed journals.
  • Associate Professor: Ph.D. with minimum 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience. At least 3 years as Assistant Professor in a reputed institute.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-I: Ph.D. in relevant discipline with 3 years of post-PhD experience in research or teaching.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-II: Ph.D. awarded or thesis submitted. Fresh Ph.D. holders may be considered for Grade-II.

🧪 Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research, evident through strong publication record.
  • Teaching experience at reputed academic institutions is highly desirable.
  • For AI & Data Engineering: Candidates should have deep knowledge of areas such as machine learning, computer vision, NLP, data mining, or AI ethics.
  • For Biomedical Engineering: Preference will be given to those with interdisciplinary research experience in AI-integrated biomedical applications.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, labs, and tutorials in relevant subjects.
  • Develop curriculum and contribute to program development and review.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and Ph.D. candidates.
  • Publish research in indexed international journals and conferences.
  • Contribute to institute-level committees and mentoring activities.
  • Participate in consultancy and sponsored research projects.
