Position Summary:

The Provost/Vice Chancellor will serve as the academic and administrative head of AURO University. This is a prestigious leadership role responsible for steering the university's academic vision and overseeing all administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary academic leadership aligned with the educational philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and The Divine Mother.
  • Manage academic programs and research initiatives to ensure excellence and innovation.
  • Oversee administrative functions to maintain efficient and effective university operations.
  • Demonstrate strong academic leadership with a commitment to high standards in teaching, research, and institutional governance.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to promote the university’s mission and growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Distinguished academician with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Professor in a university or equivalent leadership role in academic administration.
  • Proven track record of reputed research and academic administrative leadership.
  • Experience in managing academic institutions and fostering institutional development.
  • Age preferably not more than 65 years as of 15th July 2025.
