Primary Teacher (PRT) – English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to students in the primary grades (Classes 1-5).
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Focus on building foundational language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Regularly assess students' progress through assignments, projects, and informal assessments.
  • Provide individualized attention to students who need extra support.
  • Organize extra-curricular activities related to language and literacy to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, share best practices, and create an integrated learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic and behavioral progress.

Qualifications & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
  • At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school, specifically in English for primary grades.
  • Strong command of the English language, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a love for literature and language among young learners.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning will be an added advantage.
