Position Overview:
Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School is looking for a qualified and experienced full-time School Counselor to join its team on an immediate basis. The counselor will play a crucial role in supporting students’ mental health, emotional stability, and academic success by providing professional counseling services and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students addressing academic, personal, social, and emotional challenges.
Assist students in goal-setting, decision-making, and conflict resolution to enhance their overall well-being.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop supportive strategies for student success.
Conduct workshops and awareness programs on mental health, stress management, and life skills.
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards while managing sensitive student information.
Monitor and assess students’ progress and refer to external mental health professionals if necessary.
Contribute to creating a positive school climate that promotes mental health and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Psychology with a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling (PGDGC).
Prior experience in school counseling or educational psychology is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting young minds.
