Job Summary:
St Kabir Public School is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities at our school site in Sector-26, Chandigarh. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in civil engineering and proven experience in construction site management to ensure timely and quality completion of projects in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures to avoid delays and maintain project quality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, ensuring resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to site progress, inspections, and compliance.
Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications.
Collaborate with the school management to plan future construction needs and improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction site management, preferably in educational or institutional projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
