Position Overview:
The Foundation is currently hiring Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for various subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Social Studies, and Economics. The SME will be responsible for providing deep academic expertise, curriculum development, mentoring other faculty members, and supporting advanced student learning initiatives for classes 9 to 12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review detailed lesson plans and academic content based on CBSE/NCERT curriculum.
- Conduct research to stay updated with the latest academic trends and examination patterns.
- Mentor and guide teachers handling senior secondary classes in effective content delivery.
- Evaluate and improve assessment frameworks for formative and summative assessments.
- Support school academic audits and assist in training faculty across the designated subjects.
- Participate in academic planning, review sessions, and implementation of teaching innovations.
- Provide remedial teaching strategies and support high-performing students in competitive exam preparation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Social Studies, or Economics)
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory
- Experience Required:
- A minimum of 7 years of teaching experience as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for grades 9–12
- Alternatively, 7 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in an academic institution, publishing house, or ed-tech platform
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong academic writing, research, and communication skills
- Proficiency in curriculum alignment and instructional design
- Familiarity with digital tools, smart classrooms, and blended learning models
- Ability to lead academic workshops and teacher training sessions
- Commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement
