Job Vacancy Overview:

Position: Sr. Secondary Economics Teacher (ISC)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: EuroSchool, HSR Layout, Bengaluru

EuroSchool, a reputed educational institution located in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, is inviting applications for the position of Sr. Secondary Economics Teacher for ISC curriculum on a 6-month contractual basis. We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator who can effectively teach Economics to senior secondary students and help them excel academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Economics lessons to ISC senior secondary students, fostering a deep understanding of key concepts.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies aligned with the ISC syllabus to promote critical thinking and application of economic principles.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations by designing effective revision plans and practice exercises.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment that motivates students to participate actively.
  • Collaborate with fellow faculty members and participate in academic meetings and professional development sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching Economics at the senior secondary level (ISC preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the ISC Economics curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect well with students.
  • Immediate availability and commitment for the full duration of the 6-month contract.
  • Passion for nurturing young minds and helping them achieve academic success.
