Role Overview:
Plaksha University is seeking passionate individuals to join as Teaching Fellows in the Data Science and Economics tracks of its BTech DSEB program. This role supports faculty in delivering high-quality education while offering early-career academics the chance to work in an innovative, fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist faculty in content preparation for lectures and labs
- Conduct tutorials and practical lab sessions
- Grade assignments, assessments, and manage course records
- Track student performance and maintain evaluation data
- Promote research and mentoring culture among students
- Participate in curriculum design and pedagogy planning
- Help develop academic proposition in coordination with the DSEB Chair
- Provide student support and address academic concerns
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Robotics, or related fields
- Exceptional Bachelor's graduates may be considered with relevant work experience
- For Data Science: Prior coding experience in Python
- For Economics: Prior coding experience in STATA/Python/R
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and creativity
- Adaptability and willingness to work in a start-up academic environment
