Job Description:

Manav Rachna International School is seeking a passionate and creative TGT Art Teacher to join its faculty team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in visual arts and a flair for nurturing creativity in young learners. The teacher will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering engaging art lessons aligned with the curriculum, fostering students' creativity, and enhancing their artistic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a creative art curriculum for middle and secondary classes
  • Teach various forms of art including drawing, painting, sculpture, and craft
  • Prepare lesson plans that encourage aesthetic development and individual expression
  • Organize art exhibitions, inter-school art competitions, and display student artworks
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that inspires students to explore their creativity
  • Assess and track students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Coordinate with other faculty to integrate art projects with academic subjects
  • Maintain art supplies, manage the art room, and ensure safety standards during activities

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (BFA) or Visual Arts (equivalent degree in Art Education preferred)
  • B.Ed. is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating teaching and artistic experience

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferred)
  • Proven record of conducting art workshops, school exhibitions, or extracurricular clubs is a plus

Skills Required:

  • Creative thinking and innovative teaching techniques
  • Good communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young students
  • Familiarity with contemporary art tools and digital art (preferred)
