Job Description:

PM Shri JNV, Mohali, is inviting applications for the engagement of TGT (Computer Science) teachers on a contractual basis. This opportunity is part of the school’s initiative to bring qualified educators into the classroom who can contribute to digital literacy and computing skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Computer Science as per CBSE syllabus.
  • Teach foundational computer programming, applications, and IT concepts to middle and secondary school students.
  • Plan and conduct practical sessions in the computer lab.
  • Prepare and assess assignments, test papers, and projects regularly.
  • Maintain discipline and promote a healthy academic environment in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with other staff for academic and co-curricular activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications or B.Tech in relevant discipline.
  • B.Ed. is mandatory.
  • Preferred:
  • CTET Paper-II Qualified.
  • Candidates with teaching experience in residential schools/NVS will be given preference.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Computer Science preferred, especially in government or CBSE-affiliated institutions.

Contract Details:

  • Engagement is purely temporary and for the academic year 2025–26.
  • Selection is subject to verification of documents and fulfillment of qualification criteria.
