Job Description:

Sainik School Kalikiri, operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking a dynamic and qualified TGT Social Science teacher on a temporary contractual basis. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction to middle and secondary school students in line with CBSE curriculum standards, with a focus on building strong foundations in Social Sciences (History, Civics, Geography, and Economics).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus.
  • Prepare students for academic excellence and all-round development.
  • Maintain discipline, classroom management, and a conducive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Support the overall educational goals of the school and participate in co-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science or related subject from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • CTET/TET qualification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in residential/public schools will be an advantage.
