Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
Graduation in Odia (minimum 3-year course)
B.Ed. from a recognized institute
CTET or STET (Odisha) qualification
Languages: Proficiency in Odia, Hindi, and English
Desirable: Basic computer knowledge
Age Limit: Up to 62 years

Remuneration (Consolidated):

₹33,000/- per month (with B.Ed + CTET/STET)
₹29,000/- per month (without full qualifications)

Job Responsibilities:

Teach Odia to Classes VI–X
Prepare lesson plans and conduct assessments
Support school events and co-curricular activities
Maintain student discipline and academic records

Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Kuarmunda, located in Sundargarh district of Odisha, is a premier government-run institution under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. Established with the core objective of providing quality education to tribal children in remote and underdeveloped areas, EMRS Kuarmunda is part of a national initiative aimed at empowering Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities through inclusive and holistic learning environments.

EMRS Kuarmunda operates under the umbrella of the EMRS scheme, which was launched in 1997-98 to bridge the education gap for tribal students and promote academic excellence, leadership, and life skills among rural youth. These schools are fully funded by the central government and follow a CBSE-affiliated curriculum, ensuring high educational standards on par with urban institutions.
