Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the school transport fleet, including buses and private vans.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.
- Supervise the transport staff and drivers, maintaining discipline and punctuality.
- Maintain transport logs, route plans, vehicle documentation, and compliance reports.
- Ensure adherence to all traffic rules, DoE (Department of Education) regulations, and school-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for transport.
- Conduct regular safety checks and coordinate vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Address transport-related concerns from parents and staff, providing swift and effective solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling school transport operations.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Strong organisational, management, and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of traffic rules, safety standards, and DoE norms.
- An analytical and route-savvy mindset for optimizing schedules and travel efficiency.
