Role and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Biology in alignment with the IB curriculum and school standards.
Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and scientific inquiry among students through experiments, projects, and discussions.
Design assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for academic growth.
Incorporate modern teaching methodologies, digital resources, and laboratory-based learning to create an interactive classroom environment.
Support students in research projects, internal assessments, and extended essays (for IB DP level).
Collaborate with fellow teachers across disciplines to integrate cross-curricular learning.
Actively participate in professional development programs, school events, and parent-teacher interactions.
Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols during practical work.
Qualifications and Experience:
A postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Biology or Life Sciences with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB schools or other international curricula such as IGCSE/AS & A Levels.
Strong command over subject matter with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Experience in handling laboratory equipment, experiments, and research-based learning.
Familiarity with inquiry-based pedagogy and the philosophy of the IB curriculum is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills to engage with students.
