Faculty Recruitment: Professor – Marketing / Finance

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality and interactive classroom sessions, ensuring experiential and application-based learning.
  • Design, implement, and mentor career enhancement initiatives, student projects, and business simulations to support practical skill development.
  • Lead and contribute to impactful research initiatives, with the objective of publishing in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive industry-academia integration, case study development, and curriculum enrichment.
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs to maintain thought leadership in your domain.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ph.D. in Marketing or Finance from a recognized university/institute.
  • 15–20 years of experience in teaching and research at reputed business schools/universities.
  • Demonstrated contributions to scholarly research with publications in Scopus, ABDC, or UGC-CARE listed journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Prior exposure to corporate training, consulting, or institution-building activities is an added advantage.

Chitkara University is a private university located in Rajpura, Punjab, India. It offers undergraduate programs, post-graduate program and doctoral programs in fields like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and other courses in Health Sciences, Nursing, Hospitality, Art & Design, and Education.

Chitkara University was founded by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act” in 2010.The university comes under the establishment of the Chitkara Educational Trust based in Chandigarh and founded by Dr Ashok K Chitkara and Dr Madhu Chitkara in 1998.

Chitkara University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Relevant programs are approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Indian Nursing Council (INC) and National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).
